I walked into Marc Bendall's jewellers in Redcliffs 2 years ago, while on holiday from Washington DC. I never intended to buy anything, but I was so impressed with the contemporary, elegant beauty of the pieces on display I decided to have my diamond engagement ring redesigned and ended up purchasing a beautiful new wedding band to match.Marc and Catherine were so helpful with the entire process providing an instant drawing of the proposed design, sending me photographs by email and working in appointments around my travel itinerary. Marc even managed to incorporate my mother's wedding band into my new ring. I am delighted with the finished pieces and feel very fortunate that I found a jeweller of such skill in New Zealand.

Marc designed a diamond pendant for me earlier in the year. I did not really have any set ideas about what I wanted apart from having a fixed budget to work within. Marc listened to my ideas and then came back after our initial meeting with some fabulous sketches and we finally settled on one. I wear it every day, it is timeless and elegant and very sparkly! The service from Marc and Catherine was very friendly, personal and professional and I would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

Marc designed a magnificent bespoke diamond wedding ring for my wife when we were married recently. Amy knew exactly what she wanted and sat with Marc who patiently and attentively listened to her and then translated her concept into a beautiful drawing of what he imagined she was saying. It was almost bang on and with a little more conversation and a couple of tweaks, the picture was exact.
From there Marc worked with us around our budget to produce a ring that suited not only our wishes but also our finances. He then manufactured it to the most amazing standards and provided incredible services to get it to us on time.
The ring really is absolutely stunning and a true work of art.

This week I had the pleasure of receiving what is to be my wedding band! I saw the photo of the gorgeous Bow ring on Facebook, made contact via messenger and then email. Amazing contact, fantastic service and then the gorgeous ring was posted out. It was beautifully wrapped like I'd bought it at a shop -it was a treat to receive. Can't say thanks enough and would like to see more jewellery up on FB. One minute I was just having a cuppa on the couch and then I owned my wedding band. Woop, woop - big 5 stars all round!!

True to your word my bracelet arrived today and I am absolutely thrilled with it. It is really stunning and looks even better away from all the other jewellery that was at the exhibition. I tipped the house upside down on Sunday night and guess what I found, my bracelet that I had lost. Anyway I have no regrets about my purchase and will get a lot of enjoyment wearing it.

Opportunities arise when disaster happens. Grant and I relocated to Auckland after the earthquakes. Having met, married and lived in Christchurch for 17 years I wanted to have a memory of Christchurch to treasure each day. As Marc had designed a ring for Grant previously, we were aware of his expertise, creativity and passion, as well as his ability to think outside the box and take on board our ideas. This year I decided I wanted a one carat princess diamond ring made by Marc. I was down in Christchurch and had numerous appointments with Marc. He listened to what I wanted in a ring, sketched my finger and then added his artistic flair and looked at possible designs. The whole journey from the conversations, sketching, design, creativity and passion make this ring even more special.
